LAS VEGAS, January 19-22, 2004 – LENOX, a leading manufacturer of
premium power tool accessories, hand tools and band saw blades,
introduced the new LENOX® Lazer™ heavy-duty metal cutting reciprocating
saw blades. Lazer’s patented tooth design increases blade life and
improves cutting speed. When measuring average cuts to failure, these
bi-metal blades outlast their closest competitor by 48 percent, (19.3
cuts for Lazer vs. 13 cuts for the competition) according to independent
test results*.
Lazer is 40 percent wider than standard blades, delivering increased
strength, durability and straight cutting. This unique feature makes it
less susceptible to whipping, a common cause of blade failure. Lenox
Lazer cuts steel framing, pipe, angle iron, rebar, or any other general
metal-cutting application with ease.
Lazer is available in 6-inch, 9-inch or 12-inch lengths with 8, 10, 14
or 18 teeth per inch. The Lazer blades are also available in bulk of 25
packs.
